Built in 2000, the Ogden Avenue Elementary playground has supported nearly 600 students daily. The students of Ogden receive approximately 92 hours of play per year, and over the past 25 years our playground has hosted nearly 1,380,000 hours of play!

As you can imagine, over the years our structures have taken a beating and are nearly “played out”. With the development of new structure technology and advancement in ADA playground compliancy, our existing play space is in essential need of a renovation.

As a community, it is our turn to pay it forward for the next generation, just as our community supported us over the last 25 years. Please be part of the initiative and “Invest In A Million Hours Of Play”.

Refurbishment of Existing Structure: Existing posts & platforms will be enhanced with safe climbing and sliding attachments.
Blacktop Enhancement: Vibrant markings invite kids to explore, play, and create their own games. From hopscotch grids to whimsical pathways, each mark tells a story.
Woodland Space: This whimsical haven invites young adventurers to explore, create, and connect with nature in the most playful ways.
New Play Apparatus: Get ready to unleash your imagination and energy! The proposed Climbing Cube, Hamock Swing and Turf Mound will invite excitement and laughter at every turn.

Investment FAQ’s

1. Are donations tax-deductible?

Answer: Yes! The Ogden PTC is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and all gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. We are happy to provide receipts for all donations.

2. My company has a charitable contribution matching program. Can my company match my donation?

Answer: Yes! Please be sure to check with your employer for eligibility for employer matching gifts and grants or visit CharityNavigator.org to see if your employer has a matching program.

3. What options do I have to donate?

Answer: Cheddar Up is the online donation platform used by the PTC. Cheddar Up charges a flat $0.59 fee on E-Check donations or a fee of 3.59% of the donation amount plus $0.59 on credit card donations. The fundraising website is: https://ogden-playground-renovation.cheddarup.com. Business and personal checks are to be made out to “Ogden PTC” with “Playground” in the memo.
